Soapchallenge Club July 2024: 3-dimensional soap embeds

For the July challenge we had to make a soap that included a geometric, three-dimensional embed.

My soap 'Growing cubes' was awarded the 'Best technique' award in the advanced category and I am very happy about it!

I made 9 extruder discs, used them to extrude 51 pieces of soap dough and then glued them together piece by piece with distilled water. First the cubes, then the 'corners' around the outside and then all the pieces were put together.

I printed a square tube as a soap mold, placed the embed vertically in it and finally filled it with fluid soap batter.
